NDIS Physiotherapy

Our experienced physiotherapists will help you to reduce your pain, move better, get stronger and achieve your NDIS goals!

Effective Treatment

Physiotherapy can help you achieve your goals by:

  • Improving independence

  • Improving function

  • Increasing strength

  • Reducing pain

  • Increasing range of movement

  • Increasing endurance

  • Reducing risk of falls

  • Chronic pain conditions

Techniques we use

Manual Therapy

These techniques include soft tissue massage, trigger point therapy, joint mobilisations and manipulation among others. We use them to reduce your pain and stiffness and help you to move better.

Dry Needling

Small pain-free needles are inserted into the muscles to reduce pain and improve range of movement. Great for people who find hands on treatment too intense.

Electrical Stimulation

Electrical current can stimulate the nerve endings and have a pain relieving effect. With the correct programming it can also be used to strengthen muscles and improve endurance.

Exercise Prescription

For long term results, it is important to address any underlying muscle weakness that could be contributing to your pain or dysfunction. Depending on your needs, stretching, balance and other exercises may also be recommended.

Muscle Re-Education

Strong muscles are great, but they also need to work synergistically with each other. Muscle re-education can help you learn how to use your muscles effectively and stay pain free.

Gait Aid Prescription

Having the right gait aid and knowing how to use it properly can be the difference between independence and needing assistance to get around. Adjustments can be made to promote correct posture and comfort.

Who we can help

We accept all Plan Managed and Self Managed NDIS participants. You will need to provide us with your NDIS number, along with your start & end dates. Service agreements can be arranged and are useful in helping to manage your funds.

Plan Managed Participants

We will require the details of your plan manager along with their billing information. We will communicate directly with your plan manager and can usually send the invoices to them directly. Each plan manager is slightly different, they may require you to authorise the first payment. After that it's as simple as booking in your next appointment and letting us take care of the rest.

Self Managed Participants

After the consultation, you will be required to pay for the service in full and we will send you an invoice. Next, make a payment request using the my place portal and funds from your NDIS plan budget will be paid into your nominated account within 24-48 hours.

Consultation fees

Many clinics claim that the NDIS sets the fees for services, however this is not exactly true. The NDIS has pricing arrangements and sets maximum price limits on services. For physiotherapy services the price limit is $224 per hour and most clinics charge the maximum amount for their services. Most clinics will also charge travel fees in addition to their consultation fees regardless of location.

At My Home Physio, we believe in providing as much value as we can to our clients and so we have chosen to provide our services below the price limit set by the NDIS on weekdays and we don't charge additional fees for travel in the city or surrounding suburbs.

Consultation fees:

Monday - Friday $195

Saturday $224
